“We sell service.” Because service is not really a tangible item, it often doesn’t appear to have intrinsic value. But anyone who has experienced bad service knows how crucial good service can be.” There are shops that offer free diagnostics, however how much does a free diagnostics really cost.

Our diagnostics gets you a qualified technician that takes whatever time is needed to give you a proper, accurate diagnostics.

We have had new customers shopping for a quote, saying the last place told us it was a bad hard drive. And the cost to fix it would be $300.00. He didn’t plug it in but from what they told him he determined the hard drive is dead.

When we do a diagnostic, it typically takes about 3 hours, and sometimes as much as a day to fully determine the exact issue.  Then we quote a price that is accurate. Not all of that time is spent actually working on the machine as we have some programs that run without supervision, however it does tie up our bench and these programs only point us to the area we need to look. If we determine the hard drive needs replaced, we then discover if the data is recoverable, how much data there is, where it is located and we quote the price based on everything you might need.

There are times that your computer may require two repairs and the other repair is not found until the first repair is corrected. These are things that cannot be done at a glance or a couple of statements.

If at that time you choose not to get the repair then the $35.00 will apply, If you go ahead with the repair the diagnostics fee is waved and you just pay for the repair.

We found out, the “bad hard drive” was in fact, a bad piece of ram.
